StrengthRocks is about getting you outside, making a real difference to your health and energy levels.

Where, is it outside?

We’ll be training in Cheam Park. Exercising outdoors is excellent, but don’t just take our word for it – come and try it out! The address is for SatNavs use Cheam Park, Tudor Cl, Sutton SM3 8QS, park in the car park or nearby and make your way to Cheam Park Cafe where we meet.

What do we do?

We use body weight exercises and a range of equipment to keep things interesting. No two sessions will be exactly the same.

What makes us different?

A key part of what makes us different are our body assessments. Free to all members, assessments allow us to monitor key health and fitness measurements to monitor you progress, celebrate success and motivate you onwards! Find out more about body assessments.

How do the exercise sessions work?

Starting on Monday 15th May 2017 we will be offering four sessions per week Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. You can find term dates and more information here. The sessions will help you lose fat, get strong and beat stress to feel awesome!

Who runs the StrengthRocks?

StrengthRocks is run by Personal Trainer Alex Howell. An enthusiastic health & fitness professional Alex has been living and working in Cheam for a number of years. StrengthRocks is based in Cheam Park and the surrounding Greater London area.


Operating the majority of the BootCamp Alex is a member of the Register for Exercise Professionals (find out more about REPs), 1st-aid trained and fully insured.

Where and what time are the classes?

The sessions start at 9.30am and last approximately 60 minutes, we start promptly so please do arrived by 9.25am. The classes are held in Cheam Park, a large recreational space in the heart of Cheam bordering Nonsuch Park. We meet near the Cheam Park Cafe and I usually have a banner flag so we’re easy to spot. Cheam Park is conveniently located and offers good parking amenities.

What to bring?

  1. Clothing – Wear clothes that allow you to move comfortably, I would dress to the conditions but remember you’ll be getting warm so a layers you can take off can be helpful!
  2. A bottle of water to keep hydrated.
  3. Due to the nature of the session you may (or may not) want to bring a towel to avoid the worst of any mud.

What about valuables?

Please do not bring any unnecessary belongings to the class.

I do have a heavy duty document wallet in which I am happy to keep car keys and any emergency medications such as inhalers for the duration of the session (although we take no responsibility for loss or damage of personal items or belongings).
